I've been through depression in my life, but finally back to a place of contentment and happiness.  I want to help others reach this place too!  Helping others is one of the best ways to ensure one's own well being.

Mother of 2 ages 14 and 6. Also 6 months pregnant. I have worked at my job for 4 years... hardworker.. In debt, checks are getting garnished. Need help bad. Not eligible for any type of state assistance for childcare, foodstamps or insurance. Please help. We need money for bills and clothes for the kids, as well as expenses upcoming with the baby. Hi my name is Kalume Kiyombo, 12 years ago i was diagnosed with Ataxia, before i was diagnosed i was supporting my family, working, and being the best husband and dad as i could be. Now that i have Ataxia i cannot do much myself, as in a cannot bathe myself, feed myself, or walk, it is even difficult to talk. I am here to ask for help not just for me, but for my family. My wife is the only one making a little bit of money that is barley enough to pay for the house, car, and my hospital bills. If there is anyone out there that can Please help my family and i would greatly appreciate it.

I am in a desperate situation. i have provided medical insurance for my daughter and i and gambled that we would not have a need for hospitalizations. this year, i found a lump on my breast and a biopsy was performed which, thank God, was negative. Last week my daughter was hospitalized for a liver disorder and i had to choose a high deductible just to be able to afford the insurance premiums offered through my employer. could anyone help me with paying off my deductibles which were $3000 each for myself and my daughter?

I am a mother of a beautiful 1 year old child and I have a fiance. We currently only have one vehicle so my fiance is the only one working. He just got a job with a pool installation company. If we had 2 cars and daycare I would be working too. So, I guess you can say I am a full-time mommy. The last couple months have been really rough for us financially between  rent, and electricity. We have been paying all three about 100 dollars a week but they are all getting to the point that they want their money NOW. We got a disconnection notice of $513.00 for electricity yesterday. We owe $560 in rent from 1.5 months. I am terrified of getting disconnected with electricity and getting evicted. I have tried county welfare but they will not help considering it is behind (just doesn't make sense to me, that is what they are supposed to be there for) I don't know where else to turn, I don't have anyone who will help. So, I googled "help with rent" and this is where it lead me, so I thought I would give it a shot.
